Seattle native and One Above Below None member MUNDY. is back with another Rob Reeves produced project. This album is a complete 180 in terms of his previous album ETD. There’s no story or hidden message. In this fun album, MUNDY. showcases his diversity.
The project starts with an album title track. It sets a consistent tone for the rest of the EP. “Hey Delilah” and “Exotic” served as the first singles for the album. The songs are night and day. “Hey Delilah” could definitely be a radio anthem while Exotic is a subtle flex to the listeners.
On “Life Goals”, Mundy. grabs Santa Mac And Gunna Goof who was recently featured in “Artist You Should Know But Dont”. The track features a smooth bridge with more “hot head” styled verses. Personally, I like Gunna Goof‘s verse the most. He brings an energy to the track that brings it to a closing, I had to run this one back a few times.
My personal favorite of the EP happens to be the closing song of the album. “Hard Drive” features a local artist that goes by BEFROMEARTH. BEFROMEARTH also has ties to The Residency. If concerts and festivals were a thing right now, I have no doubt this track would be the best song on the set. It’s a perfect balance for the two artists.
