Travis Scott is doing what it takes to keep you talking about him, including collaboration with… McDonald’s? Following whispers of an alleged new feature, comes confirmation from the two on social media today. Early Thursday morning, the two shared posts on Twitter and Instagram teasing the pending collaboration. Cactus Jack comes to McDonald’s Tuesday, September 8th in the form of a limited-time meal deal.
Before the announcement, rumors had circulated on social media after a leaked ad for the “Travis Scott Meal” made its way on Twitter. The limited-time Travis Scott x McDonald’s “collab” will set you back $6 and include a Big Mac, drink, and fries.
Also, reports say the collaboration includes a Happy Meal featuring a figurine of Travis, complete with a choice of side, drink, burger, and mask – because… AMERICA!
Kylie Jenner’s WAP must be running over because the leaks don’t stop there! A leaked Business Insider exclusive has the McDonald’s marketing chief officer mouthing off about the venture.
McDonald’s teased a Travis Scott figurine on Instagram
“From his impossible-to-get Nike sneaker line to a cereal collab with General Mills that sold out in 30 seconds, to a record-setting virtual concert series inside Fortnite, Travis Scott is the definition of big in culture,” says Morgan Flatley. “Beyond this, he is a true fan of McDonald’s and our cravable [sic], iconic food. He will resonate and spark excitement with our youthful multicultural customers, and has a few surprises to delight our crew and ensure they are part of the excitement.”
Travis apparently is the leader of the pack, as the conglomerate expects to launch more collaborations. “We can’t wait to share the rest of the lineup,” Flatley also notes in the memo.
