Stone II is a bubbling emcee that was born in Seattle and grew up in San Diego. Since January, he’s been giving us his first official releases as a solo artist and already gaining rapid momentum. Recently he gave us his G-funk-inspired bop “Locsta” that came with some clean visuals that showcase Stone’s overall melodic and intelligent bar delivery. Throughout, you can see him comfortably flexing with the crew. You don’t even realize this is one of his first few music videos. Growing up in rough neighborhoods, Stone II has found an honest path in his music amidst the chaos and shows tremendous potential.
At just 25-years-old, Stone II has already seen a lifetime’s worth of battles and losses. With his brother passing away a little over a year ago, it woke him up to the importance of pursuing his passions before it’s too late. Blocc Music Entertainment is the group he puts out his music through, who’s original owner Swiss P also passed away a year ago. All of this loss has motivated Stone and his team to put it all on the music.
Stone II
It’s a family affair when it comes to the production supporting Stone II. His debut mixtape From The Pavement is dropping this Friday and features three producers. The first, Sua, is a family friend of Stone’s that started making beats with him. When Sua got the laptop to start producing for real though—it was a wrap. Not long after Stone came out with “Two Sides,” and gave it a nice visual pairing.
This caught him initial buzz from big pages like @TheThizzler. They’ve since been reposting his cuts and keeping their eyes on him. The second producer goes by @M.A.2THE.T.A who’s also on the Blocc Music Ent imprint. @bussdown.40 is the third producer on the upcoming tape. Bussdown is Stone’s little cousin, a 16-year-old from San Francisco who’s got some serious fire he’s cooking up.

With the release of his newest visuals for “Locsta,” Stone II tells us more of his story and prepares us for his debut tape on Friday. The music video has already run up well over 18k views completely organically. The video directed by @shotbyeli features Stone swerving around his area with the squad, casually banging and turning up. You’ll notice unapologetic bars that come across in a smooth and melodic way. Within each verse, Stone details the severity of what might happen if you mess with his people, letting us know he’s not afraid to pull up.
Stone II is already racking up tens-of-thousands of plays on Youtube when he’s barely put any tracks on streaming platforms. The music is really speaking for itself. He’s putting up these numbers with no push and genuinely connecting with fans online. Get ready for his debut tape From the Pavement dropping this Friday by running up his icy new visuals for “Locsta” below. This is the kind of track you can expect to spin the rest of the summer with the windows down.
