Zayside Drops Debut Single “Caught Up” And Proves Seattle’s Already On His Side

Zayside has dropped his very first official single “Caught Up,” featuring @pmoshowtime and produced by @faizahmedd from Common Conduct Ent. The Seattle spitter has been grinding hard especially over the past year but holding off on his debut cut until now. Recently, he linked up with Jake One to talk music and get the legend’s approval.

He also had an impressive performance at the Chase Fade cyphers. He’s making his presence known and putting the region on notice without even putting out a lot of music. This has come in the form of a lot of freestyles on video, remixes, and social media hustling.

With his latest single, he talks about his come up and grind and how his friendships and connections impact him now. The honesty and rawness he showcases is refreshing —as he’s super open and authentic about his life. From start to finish, the single is packed full of catchy hooks and impactful lyrics. The upbeat instrumental also adds to the song, as his infectious energy meshes well with the beat. PMO $howtime comes in on the second verse and hook clean as a whistle to tie it all together.

Zayside is no doubt moving his way up quickly, and it will be interesting to see how his sound develops as his career continues to grow. Zayside truly represents the younger generation coming up in Seattle because he’s able to master social media and captivate an online audience. He isn’t really playing any shows around the city either. Zay isn’t taking the traditional route to rise up, but it definitely seems to be working.
