Rubicon Organics is a Tier-3 license in Washington and boasts a 40,000 sq. ft. Venlo-style greenhouse to subtly flex their capabilities. Rubicon Organics Partners With CA’s Cookies Cannabis Brand
Berner has gone on record as stating that Washington remains a market where consumers are keeping up with cannabis education. He went on to say that their breeding projects in Washington will then be extremely true to their brand. Berner feels that “Rubicon is providing the perfect platform to roll out Cookies in Washington.”
Let’s take a moment to look at Rubicon. They have a super-premium organic cannabis brand with operations in Canada, Washington, and California. Their flagship facility in Canada is 125,000 sq. ft. that utilizes state-of-the-art greenhouse growing with LED-lighting. They’re essentially the first big step towards scaling recreational cannabis in a style that maintains rigorous quality. They’re currently looking at producing upwards of 34,000 pounds of product between the Washington and flagship facility in Delta, British Columbia yearly.
This is a noteworthy step towards mass producing what many consider to be one of California’s leading recreational cannabis brands. If Rubicon is able to maintain the craft quality of Berner’s strains, it should be no surprise if Berner enlists their services in Canada, and maybe even California as well. Either way, this may prove to make a sizable impression on Washington’s largely state-wide exclusive market.
