Congrats on the release of “Free Like a Bird” Feat. Larry Lynch! How does it feel to finally have it out and available to the public?

It feels so great, I can’t believe that my dream finally comes true to get my first record, I really appreciate every time the track is played on the radio, it’s such a pleasure to hear your track everywhere that I can’t describe it verbally.

Are you getting the feedback you had hoped for?

Every day brings good news since the track is finally signed and out it’s like sharing your project with the world. Free like a bird was born six years ago and today I’m doing this interview. Yes, I’m getting even more (feedback) than I hoped for and I hope to keep on doing what I love.

How was it working with Larry Lynch?

First of all, Larry is an amazing singer, it was such a pleasure to work with him. He has some Jeff Buckley’s DNA that inspired me. I’m a huge fan of country, folk, and blues, and Larry has this similar vibes so the match of our universe was easy.

What else have you been working on?

I’m already working on some upcoming tracks with some new artists, it’s really exciting and of course, we are already planning a tour.

How are things in Nice, France? It’s a beautiful little town. Would you say the electronic scene is flourishing?

I am based in my hometown Nice (south of France.) Actually, we have seen recently a lot of artists coming from Nice like The Avener, Feder, Hyphen Hyphen. The music scene here is growing very fast. I’m really proud of it.

How is the European music scene? Do you have any thoughts about its current state?

The music is changing every day, every year. In Europe, I think we have a different approach to music than the USA. For example, it depends in which country you are, different styles are working more in a different country, in England pop-rock is huge, in France, cloud rap and French hip-hop are going wild, it really depends where you are. I think for this, in America you have a better and more open mind for music and I thank you in advance aha.

What would you like to share with readers and passionate music listeners in the Seattle, Washington (USA) area?

First of all, hello guys, my name is Chuck Wonderland and I’ve always dreamed to perform for an American audience, I heard it is crazy there, I can’t wait to play for you and share with all of you my musical world 🙂

What are you striving to accomplish in the next several months or a few years to come?

Since last year I’m really focused in the studio, as a DJ I was always more focused on my DJ sets and my gigs, but now I’m focused on what matters the most in the end, THE MUSIC.

Anything else you’d like to add?

To finish with a good note, I would like to say that everyone should always follow his/her dreams and never give up, in life, if we believe in ourselves everything can happen.
