Schoolboy Q is looking to heat up 2019 by releasing another new single titled “Chopstix” featuring Travis Scott. The TDE rapper previously released another single titled “Numb Numb Juice” a few weeks ago, and now he’s looking to maintain his forward momentum. On the larger scheme of things, he hasn’t dropped a full-length project since 2016’s Blank Face LP, but with him releasing several new songs is a good indication that a new project is on its way soon.
Schoolboy Q’s song “Chopstix” is an outstanding collaboration between himself and Travis Scott. While Schoolboy Q’s verses sound great and fit well with the song, Travis Scott’s chorus elevates the song as a whole. While both artists have developed a reputation for dropping banger after banger, “Chopstix” is a bit more mellow and showcases a side that we often don’t see too many times from each artist.
