Tyler Belvins A.K.A his gamer tag Ninja broke the internet last spring when he played Fortnite with rappers Travis Scott, Drake, and NFL superstar Juju Smith-Schuster played Fortnite together, officially dragging Fortnite and the Twitch universe into the mainstream consciousness. Ninja’s popularity has been on a meteoric rise since then and is using his platform to follow one of his other passions, electronic music. Today he released his first electronic compilation album Ninjawerks Vol. 1.
Ninjawerks Vol. 1 is supposed to listen like a soundtrack to your gaming session. This album combines Belvin’s love of music and gaming into an album alongside the genre’s biggest names like 3LAU, Tiësto, Kaskade, Alesso, GTA, Nero, and Dillon Francis. Francis also happens to be a big Fortnite streamer as well. It’s interesting to watch music and gaming cultures start to integrate through social media platforms like Twitch and the internet as a whole.
