Arizona’s Goldrush Music Festival Knocks It Out Of The Park

For the second year in a row, the Goldrush Music Festival has proved to be one of the largest events in the state of Arizona. The two-day festival took place at the Rawhide Western Town and Event Center in Chandler, Arizona. Artists such as Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Kevin Gates, Rich The Kid, Illneium, Louis The Child, Slander, Slushii and Vince Staples came out to perform. On both Saturday and Sunday, festival goers were apart of an incredible show and experience. We managed to take some photos from our Goldrush experience for you to check out below!

If you haven’t been apart of the Goldrush experience, do yourself a favor and plan ahead for next year’s event! You truly won’t want to miss out. The spectacular western town setting along with the beautiful fall weather in Arizona seriously can’t be beat. Along with ferris wheel rides, live art and plenty of room to have fun this has without a doubt been one of the best festivals that I have been at.

Goldrush Music Festival Artist Highlights

Illenium: definitely had one of the strongest sets of the weekend. With his musical talent and ability to play drums and other instruments live, there’s no wonder why he was able to bring out a huge number of fans for Sunday evening. As good as Steve Aoki was as a closer, some felt strongly that Illenium could have shut the evening down himself!

Steve Aoki: you can’t forget about the legend. A man who sometimes will play multiple shows per day, easily had the crowd pumped up during his energetic set and of course, when he threw a total of 10 cakes into the crowd.

Blossom: a local Arizona producer and DJ who brought a lively dance vibe and creative atmosphere. She had really attractive visuals and an undeniable passion and energy for performing her music.

Deorro: an older DJ in the game, but one who can still be called a legend, brought us through some sort of fitness class with how energetic his set was. I think over the two days his set, in particular, he had the crowd jumping up and down more than anyone else. It was definitely an unforgettable experience to be a part of!

Yung Pinch: a newer and more progressive hip-hop artist casually had the crowd enjoying his light-hearted stage presence. His catchy beats and flow made it fun to be apart of the crowd.

Deadmau5: With his new and improved DJ stage, which has also been known as the “Cube,” it is undeniable that he has been one of the founding fathers of electronic music so any time you get to see him live will always be a good time.
