While Respect My Region mainly focuses on artists on the west coast, we discovered Las Vegas rapper Ekoh; and as a result we had to share the fire that he’s been creating. From selling out venues as a headliner to dropping a string of successful singles and videos, he’s proven that he’s one of the top hip-hop artists out of the Vegas area.
What’s refreshing about Ekoh’s music is that he encompasses a variety of styles. For example, some songs are more freestyle driven while others cross over into the mainstream realm. One of the most interesting aspects is that he doesn’t rely on a bunch of choruses and hooks. Instead, his strength is seen in his rapid delivery and clever wordplay.
