In the world of uplifting trance, life can feel like an actual fairytale. Entire rooms full of people, with hearts in sync and hands in the air, can transcend reality. One of our top picks from Lucky 2017 will be the captain of our next uplifting journey. Ferry Tayle returns to Seattle to play at The Underground on Friday, May 25th!
Fables Frontman and FSOE Classic: Ferry Tayle
His reputation and skill have only increased over the last year. As I said over a year ago when this talented artist first came to Seattle:
“His sound is, in my humble opinion, the very definition of trance music. The level of euphoria in every track is unmatched; not even Aly & Fila can beat these angelic arias! While he can create some of the most beautiful sounds to ever grace human ears, he can also create razor sharp kicks and basses that deliver quite a punch.”
Ferry Tayle – or as he is known off stage, Ludovic Meyer – has delivered the freshest vibes in uplifting trance alongside Dan Stone with their label and podcast, Fables. They’ve become the next generation of mentors after learning from Future Sound of Egypt frontmen Aly & Fila.
From the moment I first listened to his music, I’ve dreamed of the day when The Underground would book him for a show. As a big fan of his work, this truly feels like a fable! Only now, he’ll be armed with even more classics, like this high profile collaboration.
Tickets are on sale now, and you definitely want to get them ASAP, because this one will be packed. It is a rare occurrence to see a beloved name in such an intimate setting!
To get the vibe right, we will also enjoy sets from MarQ, Gotek, and Medicated Melodies. We have sat down with MarQ a few times, and Gotek once before, and we’re excited to see what Medicated Melodies the doctor has in store.
