Jerome Baker is a world-famous glass blower from Chihuly, he partnered with Weekend Unlimited Inc. to create a “highly visual” event that will feature the creation of bongzilla in Seattle, one of the worlds largest smoking devices.
In an effort to make glass blowing and glass culture more popular, Jerome Baker and Weekend Unlimited are hosting a special event all 4/20 weekend long. The goal is to show that bongs, pipes, and dab rigs can are more than just smoke devices, they can be functional artwork, something that should be admired just as often as it’s used.
The event will feature teams of professional glassblowers over the course of three days creating several different pieces. This event takes place at Martin Blank Studio April 20-April 22. Jerome Baker himself will be doing a live glass blowing session on April 21, and the final piece of Bongzilla comes out of the fire on April 22 at 1.P.M., you don’t want to miss the creation this Herculean smoking device.
