Every year when winter rolls around my playlist shifts to darker, more raw and honest music. The more rain that falls, the more gritty the rap in my playlist gets. Black Umbrella just released a new track that found its way into my headphones; “Roi” by King Leez featuring Raz Simone and Malitia MaliMob.
Chilly piano keys lead into Raz’s raspy voice that whispers the hook. The beat drops with the drizzle of the trap roll. Both Leez and MaliMob passionately spit over the beat, with MaliMob breaking with a refreshingly melodic flow. This the type of shit I bump when it’s grey every day.
