This week’s playlist opens with future bass and works into experimental, dubstep, and trap music. I wanted to make a playlist with some progression, so I made the beginning chill and uplifting, and added more intense tracks towards the end. Starting off with a bootleg of Brockhampton’s “Stains,” by Whethan.
I’ve been digging Whethan’s style ever since I discovered him a few months back, and after recently listening to his new collab with Louis The Child, I fell in love. Nick Gunner is another artist that I’ve discovered fairly recently. He makes chill and interesting music that carries a bit of an Illenium vibe.
There are lots of other great artists included and tracks included here as well, such as WHIPPED CREAM and LUCA LUSH’s collaborative flip of “No Limit” by G Eazy. “Backbone” by DROELOE is another favorite of mine for its wonky but catchy production and enticing lyrical sound. When I saw that Krilla dropped a new track, I had to make sure to add that one in as well. I’ve always been a fan of his cryptic but addicting style of dubstep and midtempo bass.
