Recently, Google has decided to contribute to Chance the Rapper’s charity foundation SocialWorks by donating $1 million dollars. Starbucks and Spotify have previously been established as partners with SocialWorks and now with this contribution, it will add Google to the big list of names of whom are already connected. Google also contributed an extra $500,000 to the Chicago Public Schools, which will be used more specifically for the computer science education department. Chance the Rapper’s help with donations and fund raising thankfully raises awareness for the needs within the city and it helps tremendously when companies with power like Starbucks, Spotify and Google come together to contribute as well. Chance the Rapper and SocialWorks successfully helped raise over $2 million dollars earlier in the year and from the looks of it, they will continue to improve the inner city of Chicago. A huge thanks to Chance The Rapper and his donation opportunities – they’re doing major things for the city of Chicago.
