Over the past month, we’ve been diving deep into the Spokane music scene. As we prepare for The Joint Effort event in the local Spokane area we’ve had the privilege to discover plenty of new talented artists. One of our the favorite artists we hadn’t previously discovered is Day1 and today we have the chance to premiere his new record “No Contestin Me.”
I’m used to playing Nipsey Hussle and Dave East in the morning as I prepare for the day and “No Contestin Me” sounds like it would fit right in on my morning playlist. The upbeat record gets your head nodding and I’m looking forward to catching Day1 perform alongside Lou Era this Saturday in Spokane.
