Aaron Cohen is tired of playing by the industry playback. See Red is an acknowledgment of how the game is run but a desire to truly move independently. With murder on his mind, Cohen’s killing off his old self and re-emerging as the artist he wants to be.
After moving to New York by way of Seattle, Cohen is back in the town when he’s not on the road. Over the past year, Aaron Cohen has toured over 50 cities, 7 countries, and 3 continents without a single hand out from a label or marketing agency.
See Red is the title track off Cohen’s upcoming debut full length project. The Brakebill produced slap is a tad more aggressive than we’re used to hear from Cohen, but bars and melody play their usual forefront role.
