Brooklyn shoppers know when a store is just filling shelves and when somebody actually cares what goes on them. That’s the reason why Buzzy dispensary caught our attention. On a recent Respect My Region Podcast episode powered by Treez, we connected with Andrew from the Cobble Hill dispensary. Buzzy is on Court Street, but its address isn’t the story.
Look through the brands Buzzy is featuring, and you’ll find Ithaca Organics, UMAMII, Queens-based Major, Wizard Trees, and a rotating mix of flower, concentrates, vapes and more. There are familiar ways to shop and plenty of opportunities to find something new.
A menu like that gives the staff something worth talking about. Maybe you walked in for a particular flower drop. Maybe you want to know which pre-roll is flower alone and which one is infused.
Maybe a brand name has been following you around Instagram and you want to know whether the product lives up to it. Those are better conversations than pointing at the highest THC number on a screen.
That’s the angle we wanted to explore with Buzzy: what it takes to put a New York cannabis menu together and make it mean something to the people shopping there.
The store describes itself as a locally led, minority- and woman-owned business with neighborhood service at its center. Andrew and the team have the shelves and the Court Street location. Now comes the part Brooklyn customers decide for themselves, whether Buzzy becomes the place they tell a friend to check out
A Cannabis Dispensary That Offers Weed Delivery in Cobble Hill
Buzzy’s location at 137 Court Street puts it in a part of Brooklyn where people already have routines. They are shopping, meeting friends, grabbing food and walking through the neighborhood. A dispensary here can become part of that rhythm if it gives people a reason to return beyond being close by.
For shoppers who want to confirm where they are buying, the New York Office of Cannabis Management includes Buzzy on its dispensary location list at the Court Street address. That is a useful check in New York, where a cannabis storefront sign alone does not tell the whole story.
Buzzy also gives customers a way to plan ahead. Its visit page explains that shoppers can browse online and reserve products for pickup , which works well if you have a specific item in mind or want time to compare options before talking to someone in the store.
Then again, browsing the menu from your phone only gets you so far. You might see three flower brands, two types of pre-rolls and a handful of concentrates that all sound appealing.
The questions start when you try to decide among them.
What is fresh?
What does the flavor profile actually taste like?
Is an infused pre-roll what you want tonight, or would you rather pick your own flower and roll it?
Those are the moments when a shop has a chance to be useful.
Buzzy’s menu covers flower, vapes, edibles, pre-rolls, concentrates, tinctures, topicals and accessories, according to its current shopping categories . That gives a customer several routes through the store, depending on whether they care most about flower, flavor, convenience or trying a different form of cannabis.
Flower is still where a lot of experienced shoppers begin.
You can read a strain name and a potency figure online, but those numbers cannot tell you everything about a particular jar or bag. Cultivation, curing, freshness and the specific batch all shape the experience. A good conversation in the shop can help someone move beyond choosing the highest THC number on the page.
Pre-rolls offer an easier purchase, especially for somebody who wants to try a brand without buying a larger amount of flower. But “pre-roll” can mean different things.
Some contain flower alone; infused versions include added concentrate. That is worth asking about before purchasing, particularly if you are looking for something familiar and do not want a stronger product than expected.
Concentrates bring their own set of choices. A shopper who enjoys rosin may be looking for something different from the person buying a resin vape or their first dab.
Labels and product pages are a starting point, while questions about extraction type, storage and the specific batch can help narrow the field.
Edibles call for another kind of care altogether: read the serving information on the package, start cautiously if you are unfamiliar with a product and allow time for its effects before taking more.
The point is that Buzzy has more to work with than a single category. Its job is to connect those products with the person standing at the counter, whether that person has years of experience or no idea where to start.
New York Cannabis Brands on Buzzy’s Menu
Brand discovery is one of the strongest reasons to spend time with Buzzy’s online menu before visiting. The store’s featured brand lineup includes UMAMII, Ithaca Organics, Major, Vessel Life Science, NOIZEY, Flamer and Doobie Labs , along with other names that may rotate through the shop. Those are brands Buzzy currently highlights on its website, so check the live menu if one specific product is the reason for your trip.
There is a lot to explore within that list. Buzzy presents Ithaca Organics as a Finger Lakes cannabis company with a farm-driven, small-batch approach. It describes UMAMII through flower, flavor and consistency, while Major brings a Queens connection to the lineup.
Those distinctions are more interesting than treating every eighth as interchangeable. They give customers something to ask about: What is this grower doing differently? Which product best represents the brand? Which current batch would the staff take home?
Shopping Buzzy for Pickup or Brooklyn Delivery
Not everybody wants to browse in person. Buzzy’s online pickup option lets a customer decide at their own pace and stop by Court Street to collect an order. That can be especially handy when you already know the brand or product you want. It also means you can see what is currently listed rather than counting on a brand name you spotted in an older article.
Buzzy advertises delivery to select Brooklyn addresses , including parts of Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights, Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens, Downtown Brooklyn, Gowanus, Fort Greene and Park Slope. Its delivery page currently lists an $80 order minimum and no delivery fee. Enter your address and check the current terms before ordering, since coverage and service details can change.
Buzzy says its own team handles its deliveries and that customers receive order tracking. Those details are useful to know, but the experience itself is what will earn a repeat order.
Our conversation with Andrew is part of a larger RMR effort to get past storefront photos and talk with the people doing the work inside dispensaries. If you become a regular will come down to the familiar things: the quality of the products you choose, how well the staff understands them and whether your next visit feels as worthwhile as your first.
If you are searching for a Cobble Hill dispensary or wondering where to shop for cannabis in Brooklyn, take a look at Buzzy’s current menu before heading to Court Street . Pick out a brand or product that interests you, then bring your questions. That is where a curated shop has the chance to show what it knows.
