ShipRocked closed out its biggest year to date in 2026, welcoming more than 4,100 guests aboard Carnival Horizon for six days of nonstop music, community, and chaos at sea. Sailing January 25 through January 31 from Miami with stops at Half Moon Cay, Celebration Key, and Nassau in The Bahamas. The sold out sailing once again proved why ShipRocked has become one of the most unique experiences in rock and metal culture.
More than just a festival on water, ShipRocked continues to blur the line between vacation and live music experience. The 2026 edition featured over 30 artists performing across multiple stages throughout the ship, with standout sets from Halestorm, Motionless In White, Knocked Loose, Wage War, AWOLNATION, Suicidal Tendencies, Avatar, Starset, Sleep Theory, From Ashes To New, and Kittie. The Greek mythology themed sailing delivered both massive deck performances and intimate moments, giving fans access to artists in a way traditional festivals rarely allow.

Highlights From ShipRocked 2026
The week delivered a long list of memorable moments that reinforced ShipRocked’s reputation for spontaneity and collaboration. Halestorm hosted a special ShipDocked performance while docked in Nassau, Motionless In White performed their cover of Rammstein’s “Du Hast” for the first time since 2018, and Wage War surprised fans with an acoustic set in the ship’s atrium during the final night of the cruise.
AWOLNATION frontman Aaron Bruno performed multiple sets across the week, while Suicidal Tendencies carried beach party energy straight into their deck performance. Avatar leaned fully into the cruise atmosphere during their sailaway set, appearing in bathrobes as the ship departed Miami, and Starset debuted their new song “We Are Empire” live for the first time. The all star collective The Stowaways once again delivered one of the cruise’s defining moments, bringing together musicians from across the lineup for a set that spanned decades of rock and metal classics.
Beyond the music, ShipRocked continued its charitable impact. The annual ShipRocked Cancer Sucks charity auction raised a record breaking $200,000 dollars, bringing the cruise’s total fundraising efforts to more than $1.2 million dollars for cancer research.
ShipRocked Announces 2027 Sailing
Following the success of its largest sailing yet, ASK4 Entertainment has already confirmed ShipRocked’s return for 2027. The next edition will depart January 24 through January 30 aboard Carnival Horizon, sailing from Miami to Mahogany Bay in Roatan, Honduras for the first time, along with a return stop in Cozumel, Mexico. The upcoming cruise will feature a ShipRocked Samurai theme, continuing the tradition of immersive experiences that go beyond the music itself.

A Festival Built Around Community
What continues to separate ShipRocked from traditional festivals is the sense of community that forms between artists and fans. Between performances, meet and greets, themed events, beach activities, and late night collaborations, the experience feels closer to a traveling rock summer camp than a standard festival. Artists and fans share the same spaces, creating moments that simply cannot exist in a typical venue setting.
