Grammy-winning artist CoCo Jones took to socials to announce her upcoming tour. The Why Not Me Tour will hit a total of thirty-three cities, including Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Chicago, Dallas, and more. Shows kick off in early May, with the first stop being in the City of Brotherly Love on May eighth.
Success is in the Journey
Coco Jones is no newbie to the bright lights. She first started her career as an accomplished actress, starring in projects like Disney’s original film Let It Shine and, most recently, Bel-Air. Jones hoped her on-screen success would help her pivot into a promising future in the music business. Her determination reaped its benefits in last year’s edition of the annual Grammy awards.
Her smash single ICU won Jones her first ever Grammy for the Best R&B Performance. A goal that has always been on the horizon for the rising star. “The little DIY lock screens…I’d have a Grammy there,” Jones highlighted in an interview with Capital Xtra. This upcoming tour looks to be a coming-out party for the next phase of her push to superstardom.
