Ekkstacy is headed to San Diego on May 16th, performing at the Observatory in North Park. His 2024 North American Tour began in the beginning of May and is set to bring out Southern California fans for tonight’s show to witness his heavy hearted indie-emotional music.
Being relatively new in the music scene and building his fan base over the last few years, Ekkstacy strives to expand his fan base while introducing his niche style of music to new cities and fans. The Canadian-born artist is set to showcase his ability to not only bring his emotional style of music but also his catchy lyrics, up-tempo beats and choice of instruments in his style of music.

Who is Ekkstacy?
EKKSTACY, the Canadian singer-songwriter Khyree Zienty from Vancouver, BC, blends indie, post-punk, and synth influences to create a unique sound that encompasses various moody and melancholic styles. His music explores synth-pop, occasional trap rhythms, indie brightness, and post-punk moodiness, resulting in a dynamic sound that shifts from song to song. Known for his frequently released singles and collaborative tracks, EKKSTACY showcased his versatile style on the brooding, goth-tinged 2022 full-length project “Misery.” He continued to blur genre lines with his 2024 release, “EKKSTACY.”
Stacy has always been open about his mental health and past struggles. After his parents’ divorce, he experienced substance-induced psychosis, leading him to drop out of high school and take a night shift job at Amazon. Before long, he turned to music full-time to fill the void.
He debuted in 2020 with “stupid kids,” and continued releasing a string of emo rap singles. This journey led to his most-streamed track, 2021’s “I walk this earth all by myself.” Stacy’s vocals over lo-fi beats highlights the introspective and relatable themes of his music.
