Today is mother’s day and we’re excited to celebrate a few artists who not only kill it and make moves behind the decks, but they also double as a momma. The electronic music scene is known for its high-energy beats, massive festivals, and a diverse array of talented artists. Among these artists are remarkable women who not only excel in their music careers but also embrace motherhood with grace and determination.
Balancing the demands of touring, studio sessions, and performances with the responsibilities of raising a child is no small feat, yet these artists prove that it’s possible to thrive in both worlds. Performances, touring, creating music, and building a business, are not easy tasks. These things, they require real time and legitimate sacrifices by the mom, their kids, and the family around them.

Australian sisters Mim and Liv Nervo, known as Nervo, have been captivating audiences worldwide with their infectious beats, melodic tunes, and electrifying performances. As DJs, songwriters, and producers, they have become synonymous with the electronic dance music (EDM) scene, earning accolades and a dedicated fan base along the way. Not only are they successful EDM artists, but they are also Mothers. Both gave birth to daughters in 2019, and Mim also had a second child in 2022.
Miss K8
Miss K8, the queen of hardcore, has established herself as one of the most prominent figures in the harder styles of electronic dance music (EDM). With her aggressive beats, fierce energy, and unwavering dedication to the hardcore genre, she has garnered a massive following and earned a reputation as a powerhouse performer. She started her journey as a Mom after her daughter’s birth in July 2019 which she announced via Facebook.
Alison Wonderland
Australian electronic music sensation Alison Wonderland has been captivating audiences worldwide with her unique sound and mesmerizing performances. She started her career as a classical musician, mastering the cello and gaining a deep understanding of musical composition. This background shines through in her productions, adding layers of complexity and emotion to her tracks. In June 2023, she officially became a Mom after giving birth to her first child, a son.
Amelie Lens
Belgian techno sensation Amelie Lens has been making waves in the electronic music scene with her distinctive sound, electrifying DJ sets, and undeniable talent.
