Gunna Launches WuanaLand Cannabis Brand On 4/20 In Partnership With LA’s Traditional

On 4/20, Atlanta rapper Gunna announced the release of his cannabis brand: WuanaLand. The new cannabis product line was made in collaboration with LA’s Traditional. To kick off the drop, Traditional hosted a 4/20 party with a live performance by Gunna and of course, plenty of WuanaLand to go around. With smoke from backwoods, blunts, and joints filling the atmosphere, LA attendees got to sample their first tastes of the elite rapper weed.

WuanaLand: Gunna x Traditional

Los Angeles Traditional is a cannabis brand whose mission is to preserve the culture of cannabis. The company aims to create new and memorable experiences for their customers; using gatherings to promote community through their lavish parties. The premium brand has worked with a plethora of celebrity figures like Kevin Durant, SouljaBoy, Antonio Brown, Lil Pump, and more. When people think of LA Traditional, they think of premium quality, extreme hype, and celebrity reps. This brand association alone gives WuanaLand a designer-weed feel.

The WuanaLand event was a perfect example of the brand’s lavish event planning. The party featured several performances with Gunna, Antonio Brown, and several DJs. Additionally, the guest list included celebrities like DaBaby, Keyshia Cole, and Chris Brown.

WuanaLand’s first product is WuanaLand 66. The strain comes in the form of 3.5 grams of premium indoor flowers. While the lineage of the strain is currently ambiguous, Gunna hand-chose its parent strains from Traditional’s famous genetic library.

The strain has a candy-like aroma with notes of gas. Wuanaland 66 is an Indica-dominant hybrid. The first hit of the strain will bring out a flavor similar to its sugary aroma. Its effects might be classically Indica with the potential to offer a sense of deep relaxation in the body and mind.

WuanaLand 66 is packaged in an off-white Mylar bag with the brand’s logo subtly patterned throughout the packaging. The logo features a geometric structure within a circle and gives off an almost alchemy-like feel with the interesting symbols that encircle the design.

In addition, a portion of the proceeds from the product line will be donated to the Wuanaland Cares Charity. The charity marks yet another philanthropic action by the Atlanta rapper. Since 2018, Gunna’s Great Giveaway Foundation has hosted free grocery stores in Atlanta communities, provided over $100,000 in gift cards to families during the pandemic, and supplied thousands of families in Texas with household items.
