Since cannabis was legalized on the west coast, Cookies based cannabis strains have been all the rage. 99 Cookies from Fleur D’Elite is powerhouse hybrid. Genetics come from Forum Cut Cookies, Cinderella 99, and an OG Kush with Chem cross.
Packaged in a classy glass jar, Fleur D’elite doesn’t cover the jar with a label or information that takes away from viewing the cannabis. A small label on the side of the lid provides the necessary information like genetic makeup and the best by date. Their label is tasteful and easy to read. Their cannabis is the main focus of their packaging.
The eighth of this cookies strain that I bought came with a huge nug. Not a dense nug, but big enough to get a few blunts out of. It had a very piney smell to it. There was a combination of light greens and shades of brown, perfect for a fall day.
I loaded myself a bowl as my pad thai cooked. The smell of the weed stuck to my fingers and at first, my thumb and pointer finger subtly stuck together. The piney flavor I inhaled gave way to a deep earthy flavor typically associated with Kush strains. Immediately my eyelids felt heavy while the tension in my shoulders subsided. Luckily I was hungry because the munchies kicked in just as dinner was finished.
