System Of A Down was a huge part of my early musical tastes. While I battled goblins in Everquest or the Flood in Halo, the Toxicity album roared through my speakers. When I heard Shavo, the bassist had started his own cannabis brand I knew I had to try it. I had that opportunity when I visited California for the West Coast Weed Tour in October. Shavo has an affinity for numerology, hence the 22 in front of everything. The 22AF strain from 22Red is a euphoric hybrid strain.
The packaging for 22Red’s cannabis is classy. They utilize a black cardboard box with red trim and lettering to encase their glass cannabis jars. A series of red lines surrounding the black cap of the jar add to the visual appeal of the packaging. There is just enough red to add to the appeal of the packaging without dominating it, a perfect balance.
Inside the glass jar lays cannabis with a strong gassy aroma. The nugs aren’t tightly clinging to the stem or to each other, there seems to be some space and flexibility between each of the smaller buds. When I squeeze the cannabis between my fingers there is some give, but nothing sticks to my fingers.
Euphoric is hands down the best way that I could describe the high from 22AF. Smooth smoke, exceptional flavor, and a nice mellow euphoric high made for the perfect combination to enjoy on a Thursday night.
