Today’s rap music fan has been known to clown on this guy 21 Savage for being part of the ‘Mumble Rap’ movement. After checking out a few 21 Savage interviews and giving his most recent project, Issa Album, 100% of my full attention, the more I learn, the more of a supporter and believer I become. Many rappers have a similar background or history, but few artists are using their experiences to teach others how to turn it into something bigger and better.
Recently, 21 Savage linked up with Genius and worked alongside a real blacksmith to create a knife throughout their interview. I’m not one to really talk much about the hip-hop community, but today, I want to encourage people to watch this interview and take whatever pain they’re holding onto and turn that into something positive.
