1800 YoungSmoke Debuts Studio Album ‘Broken Hearts Don’t Heal Fast’

1800 YoungSmoke has become one of the most exciting prospects in the PNW music scene heading into 2021. Working with billboard producer Tugga, Smoke is primed and ready to drop his debut studio album Broken Hearts Don’t Heal Fast as we close out a crazy 2020.

Like most of us, the Spokane-based artist has been through a lot this year but he hasn’t let that hold him back. Turning the obstacles into opportunity, YoungSmoke took the time to focus on his craft and release some long awaited content.

In late November, 1800 YoungSmoke dropped his highly anticipated music video for “Think Twice” directed by Lledrow Multimedia. The track quickly gained praise for it’s catchy melody and early 2000s punk rock vibe, blending well with YoungSmoke’s modern hip-hop style.

Capitalizing off the momentum from “Think Twice,” it was finally the right time to release his debut studio album, Broken Hearts Don’t Heal Fast.

The 10-track album was co-produced/engineered by Spokane’s own secret weapon Nick the Producer and the great Tugga (@iamtugga) who has worked with artist such as Lil Baby, Gucci Mane, 42 Dugg, Zaytoven, and more.

YoungSmoke went down to the ATL to work at one of the top studios in Atlanta, Patchwerk Recording Studios. The trip paid off big time with BHDHF producing banger after banger.

The whole project is a fresh wave of new-gen sounds and bass bumping heaters, sure to suit whatever vibe you’re on. Fan favorites from the project have been “On The Inside,” “Bag of Chips,” “Cash Yeah,” and “Backspin.”

Every song does a great job of providing their own unique sound that make it easy to want to recycle back through the album right after listening.

If just a project wasn’t enough, 1800 YoungSmoke also blessed us by releasing his music video for “Hood Figure” off of BHDHF. This anthem caps off the project and it’s in your face energy will bring attention to any whip with the speakers to support the absolute slap.

With lots more music in the vault, 1800 YoungSmoke is poised for a breakout year in 2021. He is also collaborating with Houston artist Stackztootrill on a track so be looking out for that as well as other new music being released in the coming months!
