Young Neves is doing his part to put some respect on the Spokane hip-hop scene. He’s definitely put in his 10,000 hours and it’s been paying off. He’s been taking advantage of amazing opportunities like touring with Mark Battles, opening for Lil Wayne in Salt Lake City, and performing at the West Coast Music Festival in Arizona. The 24-year-old artist has been making palpable moves for his career. He’s not only putting out bangers but also putting in that necessary work and grind to get his name and music out there.
Neves isn’t just some well marketed or social media savvy dude that cracked the system. Simply put, the guy drops heat. His most recent release “Comeback” premiered it’s music video this last Thursday and it’ll have you making that good stank face.
Neves is just like any other human. He has moments where he feels maybe he can’t succeed, that the haters are right. He raps about life-altering moments, like the loss of one of his brothers.
By taking count of his blessings and using the hate and doubt as fuel Young Neves is making his own “Comeback.” The evidence is best put in his song. “I’m feeling like Bron, we down 3-1, and this is the comeback.”
Catch Young Neves opening for the legendary Bone Thugs n’ Harmony at the Knitting Factory in Spokane, February 20th at 8pm. Buy tickets here!
