Hawaiin-bred rapper Young Global and Detroit-street runner Lo Tickets have dropped their new weight-moving banger “Workout.”
The Xerox Visuals directed music video was shot in Los Angeles and gives a brief glimpse of the feverish hustle that put both rappers on. Lo Tickets showcases his trademark drilling Motor City flows as Young Global flashes his laidback nuanced raps.
“Workout” has all the pieces to become a money-making anthem. Young Global deals his verses with confidence and ease as he raps, “I’mma bust the pack down, we gone even sell the shake/All these pounds that I’m pushing you think I’m lifting weights.”
How The Hawiian Rapper Got His Start With
Young Global started making music with the help of his ‘good weed’ he says. In 2018, he released his Been Global mixtape and began his career. Destiny would find him selling weed to Shoreline Mafia and in-turn ending up on the group’s Paid In Full tour.
Young Global intends to break into the scene this year with a flurry of new material — lead by his recent effort with Atlanta-rap veteran Dee Goodz on “A1” back in January. His new Two-Piece Special project is ready and he has several videos on the way.
