The XXL 2019 Freshman Cyphers kicked off today with YK Osiris, Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, and Seattle’s own Lil Mosey. With DJ Scheme on the 1’s and 2’s spinning the D-Fresh produced beat. These four artists lead off one of the most anticipated freshman classes of the last few years. DaBaby is another Freshman that could come out of this as one of the best from the 2019 class. His signature flow glides over the beat effortlessly as he pulls out 55 racks and drops it like some change. Enjoy his raps or not, DaBaby is a showman. Always providing dope entertainment not only audibly but, visually. This has become a lost art to some artist. So, it’s nice to see someone who is able to have an exuberant stage presence.
