Traditionally a closed event, the 2024 Santa Rosa edition of Hall of Flowers will be the first year the event invites the public to the second-day of festivities. This year, HoF is proud to host over 300 brands, outdoor consumption areas where purchases can be made, and entertainment. Rapper Wiz Khalifa, a long-time cannabis lover, will appear at the festival for a massive communal smoke session with the public and OCB is going for a joint-lighting world record at 4:20pm.
Attendees will also be able to enjoy live music, carnival-style rides, games, podcasts, a joint-rolling university, and even a glass-blowing demonstration.
The Smoke Out With Wiz event will feature his Khalifa Kush, a brand he endorsed in 2014. Made specifically to cater to his individual tastes for more of an active high, Khalifa Kush was created in the early 2010s in LA, and a few years later, Wiz Khalifa wanted to share it with the rest of the world.
Wiz Khalifa, born Cameron Jibril Thomaz, a military brat, started writing and recording music at age 9. His first single “Say Yeah” was released in 2007, but his first big hit was 2011’s “Black and Yellow.” He has collaborated with artists such as Snoop Dogg, Naz, Pharrell Williams, and Maroon 5.
Hall of Flowers 2024 Special Details
Sonoma Hills Farm, a local farm, will present “A Taste of Sonoma Culinary Experience,” a dining experience in which chefs embrace the corner where cannabis and the culinary arts meet.
Chef Telmo Faria and restaurant Uma Casa create a farm-to-table experience in addition to Michelin Star winners and Top Chef contestants giving cooking demos. Tickets for this portion are sold separately. Food trucks will also be on-site as another dining option.
The Iconoclast speakers will also be featured, holding an honest conversation about the cannabis industry with voices from every platform from cuisine to art to cultivation.
Already several speakers have confirmed their attendance including Caleb Counts from Connected, Task Rok from Highly Educated, Nina Parks from Equity Trade Network, and Anna Wiley of CAM.
Freedom Grow is a non-profit that has partnered with Hall of Flowers to create a gallery that contains art from local artists but also from non-violent prisoners who are incarcerated for cannabis-related charges. All profits will go to prisoner outreach and advocacy to release non-violent prisoners with the goal of ending the prohibition of cannabis.
Exploding Kittens and Joking Hazard will provide interactive art installations and games to spark interest and engage those who choose to partake in the products.
If none of these other events have sparked interest, Houseplant by OBC, a Seth Rogen collaboration, has set a goal of breaking the world record for most joints lit at one time in one place. It is safe to say that this particular day is going to get LIT.
Join OCB at Hall of Flowers to set a world record for the most prerolls lit up simultaneously. Attendees of Hall of Flowers are encouraged to roll up cannabis using OCB papers and be part of this historic communal smoke session lighting up at exactly 4:20 PM on September 21. Join OCB x Houseplant Lounge at Hall of Flowers at 4 PM for the roll your own sessions. At 4:20 PM is the World Record Lighting!
In partnership with OCB papers, Flower Mill grinders, Luxe Rolls cones and NWTN Home smokewear, Hall of Flowers is also excited to present ‘Roll University’—an instructional installation where guests can learn advanced techniques from rolling legends.
