Donte Thomas first came on my radar when he won Cassow and Trox’s Who Got Next Contest last year. Dude had some serious bars and upon further research I really was digging his Colors project (I believe that was the title). Donte and myself have been speaking back and fourth a little over the past few months and I have been waiting eagerly for some new heat! That day has come in all its glory with Donte linking up with one of our favorite producer super producers from Portland, Stewart Villain. Deep and Slow Poke are both ill tracks with some ambient slaps to match.
