With the untimely death of Sublime’s lead singer and guitarist, Bradley Nowell, in 1996, original band members, Eric Wilson (bass) and Bud Gaugh (drums), formed Sublime With Rome in 2009 with Rome Ramirez. Though the band’s names are similar and they still perform most of Sublime’s most popular songs, this is not just a cover band. Releasing their third studio album, Blessings, fans should expect plenty of new songs to jam out to. They will be performing with heavy hitters, SOJA and Common Kings – lines will form early.

Rebelution has been a fan favorite since their debut album, Courage To Grow, which was named iTunes Editors Choice: Best Reggae Album in 2007. Anthem hits like, “Feeling Alright,” and “Count Me In,” have carried the band to the top and Marymoor Park is fortunate to have them perform once again. Dancehall reggae artist, Collie Buddz, will be an opening act along with Durand Jones & The Indicators.

The Portland native, Nahko Bear, who fronts Medicine For The People, is a well-traveled musician with a worldly view on his craft. Even though this is a reggae article, I feel this band needed to up here as they have a great influence and positive message that most reggae fans love.
