Vote for the 10th 2015 XXL Freshman

Vote for the 10th 2015 XXL Freshman!

XXL has adopted a fan vote for the 10th XXL Freshman spot the past few years. I believe Iggy Azalea, Dizzy Wright, and Jarren Benton have been the past honors. This year the list is long and filled with some note worthy artists (and a few that have me thinking I should check NahRight more!). On first glance I have four artists in mind that I would potentially vote for the 10th 2015 XXL Freshman spot. Casey Veggies, Boldy James, PartyNextDoor, and Seattle’s own Raz Simone all caught my eye. The fan vote is a weird concept to me. I love giving “the people” their own electoral vote, but this can always bring an undeserving artist to the list (like XXL has never done that…). I would love to see Raz up there holding it down for the Northwest but there may be ‘bigger’ artists on the list. Casey Veggies has been snubbed the past few years but following up one of his quieter years he finally gets a nomination? Boldy James doesn’t have a crazy twitter following but he has linked up with some of my favorite producers of all time and put out some bangers the past year or so. PartyNextDoor has had some certified internet hits and has had mega production credits/features since 2015 started.

I will probably give each of these artist a vote, since XXL is letting fans vote once every couple hours (Raz you may get a couple more…Im biased).
