Inbreeding occasionally happens in the cannabis world. That is how a couple farmers created the UK Cheese strain. The strain was created by inbreeding Skunk #1 to create an indica dominant hybrid strain. Cloud Cover servers Oregon with their take on UK Cheese. Unfortunately, this strain is not edible.
Cloud Cover produces cannabis in their state of the art cultivation centers. The investment into their growing methods pays off because their products are fire. Their UK Cheese features some tightly packed nuggets of cannabis.
I really enjoy the smell that cheese strains have. They have a very distinct aroma that can help them be easily identified. Cloud Cover nailed that smell. There is a potent combination of cheese and chocolate aromas that come along with this strain. An almost mouthwatering aroma.
What this cannabis lacks in pistils it makes up for in a thin layer of trichomes. The evergreen shade of green provides an eye catching color with scattered patches of almost brown pistils.
UK Cheese smacks you right in the face after the first hit. But it wasn’t the sedative smack that I had anticipated. My face felt relaxed while my body was energized and had a strong desire to move around. The flavor is a combination of chocolate and cheese. A perfect Friday nightcap.
