UBUR has been paving his own way in the EDM scene for over 3 years. He’s infamous for creating nasty dubstep tracks that incorporate heavy riddim influence that keeps your head banging. UBUR’s music is definitely for those who love to get down and dirty on the dancefloor.
A Fountain Valley, CA native; UBUR has collaborated with SVDDEN DEATH to create dubstep masterpieces like “Savceboys.” He’s also teamed up with infamous EDM labels like Bassrush Records and Excision Music. While you can find UBUR on many different tracks featured, he also stands alone with hits singles, like his latest track “Bad Ludes.”
“Bad Ludes” is different from UBURs other singles by incorporating a sample from The Big Man from Brooklyn. Regardless, he still incorporates the deep bass and heavy drops his fans have known to love. We had the opportunity to have a quick chat with UBUR about the new track and what he’s been up to.

How long have you been DJing and what got you into it?
“I’ve been DJing for a little bit over 3 years but I’ve been making music for almost 7 years now.”
Any major music influences in your life?
“I have a ton; right now it’s mainly Carpenter Brut, Yung Lean, Gesafflestein & Space Laces.”
What DAW do you use to create your music?
“FL Studio.”
In the intro to Bad Ludes there’s an old classic sounding sample, where is it from?
“The Big Man from Brooklyn just getting stoked about Quaaludes in this super early YouTube video.”
What was the animated inspiration for the cover art behind Bad Ludes?
“Not sure honestly Bassrush covered all of the animation on that one.”
What’s your dream festival to play at?
“EDC Las Vegas.”
What’s next for your music and career?
“I’m just planning on releasing as much music as possible while we’re all sort of stuck inside.”
UBUR has been on a roll, releasing tons of new music in 2020. His recent singles of the year are “Mind Control,” “Downfall,” “Painful Choice,” “MAKE SOME NOISE,” and “Chocolate.” These tracks marry together in perfect harmony reflect his change in music styles over time.
His fans can excitedly expect lots of new music to be released in the future. UBUR is rising up and making a name for himself in the EDM community, and it will be thrilling to see what he comes up with next.
