Trippie Redd joins other big names in releasing new music this week. After announcing a new project on Thursday, Redd has surprised fans by releasing a full length album on Friday, August 20th. Titled Trip At Knight, this official release is the Ohio rapper’s 4th official release, not including his mixtapes. After being named one of Billboard’s top independent artists of 2020, Redd is looking to live up to that title this year as well.
Trip At Knight includes a star-studded list of features
With a runtime of about 47 minutes, Trip At Knight seeks to add to Redd’s incredible momentum. The 17 track album includes many high profile features as well. For example, track 12, titled “Danny Phantom,” features input from the late XXXTENTACION. Additionally, other huge names such as Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, and Ski Mask The Slump God appear on the tracklist. Another highlight in this stacked album is the track “Matt Hardy 999.” This trap banger features soaring vocal passages by Trippie Redd. The song takes an unexpected turn as the late rapper Juice WRLD is put on as a feature. This song serves as a solid club anthem with a sentimental tone as Juice WRLD is greatly missed by his loyal fanbase.

Overall, Trip At Knight is a solid collection of tracks from Trippie Redd. Furthermore, the production on this record is cohesive and interesting. Though at times it can definitely sound a little too cohesive. With a handful of heavy trap bangers, this album doesn’t let up. However, Trippie Redd transitions into a more sensitive and down-to-earth sound when you least expect it. This release will without a doubt hold up among other hip-hop and rap releases of 2021.
Trippie Redd announces a 25-date North American tour
If you are a fan of the Ohio rapper and his music, you’re in luck. According to the rapper’s socials, Trippie Redd is planning on supporting his new release with a North American tour. Beginning on August 25th, the Trip At Knight tour will hit major cities near you. With 25 dates locked in, the tour will also feature supporting acts such as SoFayGo and iann dior. The tour is bound to include many of the bangers on Redd’s new release.

As Trippie Redd continues to gain momentum, Trip At Knight proves that this momentum isn’t unwarranted. With abrasive beats and an even crazier art direction, Redd seems to have his plans lined up. If you are into hard bars, bumping 808s and bass that will piss off your grandparents, this album should be on the top of your list.
