The Ohio native is fast rising and for good reason. Seamlessly blending rock melody and hip-hop elements, Trippie is unafraid to push hip-hop’s boundaries away from its traditional roots. He has since received co-signs from Ugly God, Playboi Carti, XXXTentacion and Lil Uzi Vert – all who have been featured on XXL’s freshman cover. I’m going to make a bold prediction and say that Trippie Redd will be making XXL’s 2018 Freshman Cover.
