Tory Lanez was detained at Las Vegas Airport after TSA agents found a large amount of marijuana that he was carrying. Allegedly, he was only temporarily detained because the weight of marijuana didn’t amount to the trafficking weight reported via PEOPLE. With that said, the case has been forwarded for further review with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office.
After he was detained, he proceeded to plan a gig at Drai’s nightclub at Ceasar’s Palace. He promoted the news on his Instagram, where he was clearly still ready to turn up.

This isn’t the first time Tory Lanez has found himself in legal trouble. Tory had shot Megan Thee Stallion in the foot in the summer of 2020. The L.A. County District Attorney’s office would later charge him with assault. Since then, he violated the court orders to stay away from Megan Thee Stallion and his bail was increased by $100,000. His court date for the incident is scheduled for September 24th, 2022. If convicted, he faces the possibility of spending 22 years and eight months in prison.
