If you haven’t watched it already, Tope released Episode 1 of his “Trouble Vision” mini series in November of 2013. Episode 1 features his interviews on OPB, KBOO and KZME. This positive publicity lead to a successful summer for him, which is where Episode 2 picks up.
Tope’s “Trouble Vision” Episode 2 follows the Portland hip hop artist through the summer where he toured with Scarub of Living Legends, opened for Nas at Kaleidoscope Music Festival in Eugene, performed with Spac3man and Grynch in Seattle, interviewed with Pawz One & UGHH Blog, recorded his new album with Stewart Villain & Trox, and more. In 2013, he had the opportunity to visit places he had never been, and his music took him there. He mentions the obstacles he had to over come this year, stating that “adversity can make you work harder than you ever knew you could.”
I’m listening to Tope on Verbz’ “Crate Diggers” podcast right now. One thing he has done a great job of in his career so far is being real with his fans. He allows fans to understand his passion. He takes his music seriously and has done a great job of marketing “Trouble Man”. He’s kept the record moving, expanding his audience every show, interview, article.
