Following up on Trouble Man‘s success, Portland, OR rapper/producer TOPE releases his highly anticipated Broke Boy Syndrome album! The album features usual contributors and Portland based artists Dizz, Stewart Villain, Trox, Lawz Spoken, and more. With out of state features with California’s Blu and Cashus King TOPE has received recent praise from high status blogs such XXL, Okayplayer, and 2dopeboyz. On my first listen, it really sounds like TOPE has stepped up the sonic sound and production value on this one. Awesome to see more artists in the Northwest step up and make major moves!
You can get TOPES Broke Boy Syndrome on iTunes.
“Picking up where 2013’s TROUBLEMAN left off, TOPE speaks on the struggle to make something out of nothing while maintaining success personally and within the music industry.”
