Spring means the start of warmer weather and playlists with funky music to groove to. Tope just gave us a new single to add into that rotation titled, “No Lie.” Catchy lyrics, a funky beat, and a smooth flow came together to make this polished track.
The message is simple; “if you down, then you down, don’t tell me no lie.” The hook bounces to the Jimmy Javier produced beat like hydraulics on an Impala; painting pictures of a sunny day in California. Meanwhile, Tope spends his verses shadow boxing with the beat as he lets off steam about an ex-lover.
