Emerald Perspective in Port Hueneme, CA is the local spot for medical-grade weed and immaculate service. The team at EP hooked me up with the highly sought after Toad pre-roll joint by Tyson Reserve. I said I was looking for the best and they were confident this would get a high score.
The price of this jay was 18 dollars but went down to 16 dollars after my 15% off first-time visitor discount (gotta love those deals). In addition to the wonderful weather, my experience with their service and quality at the Emerald Perspective was very positive.
The photo does not do this beautiful packaging justice, man. This Toad pre-roll joint packaging is so cool looking with it’s iridescent and futuristic purple hues. The doob tube opens up easily and a gorgeous joint with a branded crutch fell perfectly into my hands. The sweet piney aroma hit my nose right as I started to light it.
One hit. Talk about it. 2nd hit. And then the final score.
Being in windy Port Hueneme is not going to stop me from lighting a jay created by one of the greatest boxers of all time. First hit right off the bat, heavy gassy terps strike me. Maybe the wind affected the taste, but the inhale was a bit harsh. With that in mind, I evened out the burn and went in for a second toke. The flavor ramps up in intensity and the ash begins to darken in color. The Toad pre-roll joint was a gassy, garlicky, but also unique flavor experience.

The Toad pre-roll joint was a knock out with uniquely custom but recognizable GMO flavor. Although it was a little harsh for me, and the high-end price still leaves me with a bit of doubt. It won’t effect the score too much as I still loved this pre-roll. Check out my final score at the bottom!
