From the experimental yet highly thought-through choreography in the video to the minimalist production – it’s clear she’s going for a different sound. One of the most interesting components of the track is that it includes so many different genres. It ranges from hip-hop and R&B influences to dance.
While people can be used to hearing her singing on a DJ Mustard beat, it’s interesting to see her breaking away from the sound that defined her at the beginning of her career.
