These Songs Slap – November 2015

Before I started blogging for Respect My Region I used to be a Central Washington University campus rep for www.ThisSongSlaps.com . I was a huge fan of their music blog and was able to discover pretty much every single artist I enjoy today because of their website.

4 years later, I’m still learning new things and discovering new artists thanks to their awesome team of writers. In honor of what I learned from TSS, Respect My Region is launching a new music series called ‘These Songs Slap’. Obviously it sounds quite similar to ‘This Song Slaps’ but instead of featuring one song at a time, RMR will showcase a list of 20 tracks  from our favorite ‘main-stream’ artists in dance music as well as rap & hip-hop.

We will definitely separate the genres for you guys so don’t worry! This first list is all dance music and includes an entire selection of bangers from Yellow Claw’s brand new album and a bunch of other awesome tracks put together by myself and Brittanie!

The Respect My Region team listens to as many ‘new’ songs each day as possible and we encourage you all to try and expand your horizons. The goal of this series is to continue spreading new music out to the masses so please remember to share on your social medias if you’re a fan! Crack a beer or spark up a J and enjoy 🙂
