The Game Reps the Left Coast Loud and Proud In “West Side”

The Game has returned with a brand new single titled “West Side.” The highly accomplished west coast rapper has been working hard on his upcoming album titled Born 2 Rap. The highly anticipated album is arriving soon. Because of this, he’s heating things up with dropping a stand-alone single with a supporting music video.

The Game gets right to the point with rhyme heavy vocals that also incorporate a layer of bounce. These two elements blend perfectly with his hard-hitting delivery – which can be heard the entire way through.

Produced by Wallis Lane, Big Duke, and Prince; all producers successfully created a slow burn with the upbeat instrumental. From the repeating filtered vocals on top to the dense yet precise percussion line underneath, the instrumental rides with the vocals on the track perfectly.

The music video amplifies everything that is heard on “West Side.” Directed by Aaron Green and PhillyFlyBoy, the visual has appearances from Dave East and Jackie Long. The Game has made it clear that 2019 could be his biggest year yet, and his latest single and upcoming album demands all of the hype and attention.
