Taane Jr has teamed up with Drew Griffin to premiere the visual for his new single “Growth.” The video grabs your attention right away as it starts under a bridge panning a row of honey buckets. With traffic in the background, trash on the ground and graffiti on the walls, it captures a particular vibe. Then it unexpectedly goes directly into a moving one take. Taking you from the alley and through harbor steps, it leads you to the Seattle Art Museum intersection downtown.
Although “Growth” is a one-take, it’s also infused with just the right amount of effects. This particular visual gives you all the elements that keep the style popular. With constant movement and frame changes, it keeps the viewer engaged the whole way. The song itself uses creative wordplay to convey wisdom and positivity.
