Every band, duo or group has its one standout member with that special “it” factor – you could say they are the Beyoncé of the group. It’s a debate with Quavo and the Migos, and that conversation is no different with Swae Lee and Rae Sremmurd.
The Proof Is In The Pudding With Rae Sremmurd
On the majority of Rae Sremmurd’s hit’s, Swae Lee is usually singing the hook and has the more memorable verse.
“Black Beatles”, “No Flex Zone”, “Lit Like Bic”, “No Type”, “Look Alive”, “Come Get Her” – the list goes on.
Additionally, Swae Lee was also the one who wrote the reference lyrics for Beyoncé’s hit single “Formation”.
Amongst these talks, Swae Lee has announced that he’ll soon be dropping a solo project titled Swaecation. On the other hand, Slim Jxmmy feels the media will do a lot to try and separate the two.
Although Swae Lee continues to collaborate with other artists doing solo features, he says Rae Sremmurd will never separate.
Should Swae Lee go solo or are he and Slim Jxmmy too good of a duo to split up? Get in the comments and let us know what you think.
