Occasionally it’s necessary to shut your brain off and enjoy the calm of a Sunday morning. This particular morning was paired with a Super Silver Haze live resin from Green Acres Pharm.
The smell of freshly brewed coffee filled my apartment. Bright orange and red leaves fell outside my window. A hint of sunshine was peeking through the blanket of fog. It hasn’t even been two weeks since it was processed, I was sold. A simple little plastic shell contained the small jar of concentrate. The plastic was easy to open as the front and back were only attached at the bottom like a hinge. My nostrils were overwhelmed with notes of the terpenes; myrcene, limonene, and nerolidol. It smelled like somebody tried to polish a tree stump in a forest with lemon Pledge. Like you took a handful of dirt and pine needles, sprinkled some sugar on it, and finished it off with a twist of lime.
The vibrant orange-yellow concentrate resembled the sap of a tree. The consistency is pretty terrible to work with. My point being reinforced by the oil that managed to seep out of the jar and all over the packaging while being held for sale. The outcome though, is well worth it.
There’s a sense of clarity in this high. A calming sensation takes over your body, no more tense muscles. Time will slow down, you will start to appreciate nature’s beauty and contemplate life’s complexities. Than your stomach will gently nudge you towards that perfect Sunday brunch you always wanted.
