$eude joins industry giant Atlantic Records, who currently boasts a roster of major artists like Bruno Mars and Cardi B. The 20-year-old rapper is the label’s newest investment in the burgeoning wave of West Coast reality rap. East Los Angeles native $eude joins the label based on the strength of his viral hit “Back To The Bag”.
$uede is being compared to the likes of Kodak Black for his melodic and cadence-driven raps about street life. His recent track “Poppin” draws inspiration from the Project Baby rapper’s early catalog. However, $uede has proven his ability to nail his own niche, with his recent banger “Came A Long Way.”
$uede’s overall sound is evocative of his representation for the Latinx community of East Los Angeles, with tracks like “Too Late” and his recent “Came A Long Way” serving as great examples.
Legal Woes To Slow $eude’s Initial Debut
Even though $uede just inked his new deal with Atlantic, he will serve the majority of his first year as a signed artist in L.A. County jail. In an interview with Shawn Cotton for SayCheese TV, $eude explains he will turn himself in for a 36-month bid for an alleged car-jacking.
